Rahul Kaliki is the Chief Executive Officer of Infinite Biomedical Technologies, a spin-off of Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland that is dedicated to commercializing innovative control interfaces and machine learning algorithms for upper limb prostheses control. Dr. Kaliki received his PhD and MS degrees in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Southern California, where he worked on a control strategy for upper limb prostheses based on artificial neural networks. He has been the CEO of IBT since 2011.
At IBT he has successfully commercialized four products that have been sold globally to thousands of patients. In addition to his position at IBT, Dr. Kaliki is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine where he manages graduate student research projects related to upper limb prostheses. As Board Member at Point designs, he is excited to help Point Designs push the boundaries of partial hand prosthetic technologies even further.
