Merge MID – Candidacy Eligibility

Is Merge MID appropriate for my patient?

Merge MID is intended for people with amputations through the middle phalanx of digits 2–5 who retain enough residual length and active PIP motion to drive the prosthesis. A Point Designs review of clinician-provided measurements and photographs helps confirm candidacy.

Criteria:

• Digits 2-5
• 15-35mm remaining middle phalanx length
• At least 45° active PIP range of motion
