No, your prosthetic fingers should work fine without lubrication.

Do I need to clean my prosthetic fingers?

We strongly recommend cleaning your prosthetic fingers. This can be done with soap and water, just water, or any other mild detergent. However, if you do clean them, we encourage you to fully dry them before you wear them again.

Can I get my prosthetic fingers wet?

Yes, you can! We just encourage you to dry them fully after getting them wet.

What should I do if my socket doesn’t fit well, or needs adjustment?

If your socket doesn’t fit well, please contact the prosthetist who fit your current prosthesis and have them make adjustments.

What should I do if my prosthetic fingers need servicing?

How much can I hold with my prosthetic finger?

We recommend a safe loading limit of 150 lb.

How do I get replacement fingertip pads?

If you need new fingertip pads for your prosthetic fingers, please fill have your clinician fill out our Accessory Request Form, and we will fulfill your request as soon as possible.

How should I maintain my prosthetic fingers?

To maintain your prosthetic fingers, we recommend that you wash them with soap and water as needed, or just water. After you wash them, we recommend that you fully dry each finger before using it again.

Each prosthetic finger is 3D printed out of titanium, and assembled with brass and stainless steel components.
